Beschrijving

Our brewers believe an American IPA should be full of American hops. Masala Mama uses three different West Coast varieties, over five hop additions. This copper-colored ale is not strictly about hops; American pale barley and several caramel malts balance the flavor for a green, toasted caramel finish. The British realized an abundance of hops will help preserve beer … we realized hops can preserve our customers.

Correcte sans être exceptionnelle. J'apprécie l'équilibre entre le malt et les houblons, l'ensemble est harmonieux et la texture agréable. Les cinq ajouts de houblon se ressentent effectivement mais j'aurais aimé un peu plus de caractère pour une IPA de cette gamme.

Dégustée hier soir entre potes, franchement elle envoie du lourd cette américaine ! Les arômes fruités ressortent bien au nez, en bouche c'est équilibré avec une belle longueur. Par contre le prix est un peu salé pour ce que c'est.

Belle découverte cette Masala Mama ! L'amertume est bien dosée sans être agressive, on sent vraiment les houblons américains qui ressortent bien. La couleur cuivrée est superbe et la mousse tient correctement. Seul petit bémol, je la trouve peut-être un peu trop maltée pour une IPA mais ca reste tres agréable à boire.
