The best reason you’ll ever find to “not be afraid of the dark”! CB’s Double Dark Cream Porter is everything the name conjures up in your mind. Very unique as it is a “cream” style Porter which, through the use of just the right ingredients and processes, we have created a beer with a very creamy, almost silky texture. This beer is still black to the point of being opaque, with a full, rich body and pleasant smokiness from the load of roasted malt in the grain bill. The hops take a backseat in this beer, but they offer enough bitterness to offset the malt sweetness. Try one and any misconception about dark beers being heavy or harsh will fade away quicker than the beer in your glass.
