Description
Genius Anyway is a Farmhouse Ale fermented with Mango in collaboration with brewer Matt Van Wyk of Eugene, OR’s Alesong Brewing & Blending.
Matt & UNION Co-founder/Dir. Of Brewing Ops, Kevin Blodger met in Chicago 10 years ago when Matt was brewing for Flosmoor Station. Matt then moved to Eugene to brew for Oakshire Brewing Company before starting his own brewery, Alesong.
This farmhouse ale was brewed with Spelt, Oats and Pilsen malts, hopped with Citra and Ekuanot hops and then fermented on organic Mango puree. Genius Anyway is light, smooth, fruity and floral with pleasant farmhouse yeast notes and a touch of tropical mango.
