Belgian Golden Strong Ale aged in red wine barrels.
Spencer Penrose was the founder of the 5 star Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs and is considered to be one of the fathers of the city. Prior to prohibition he stockpiled fine wine and spirits under the pool in the hotel. This rare and special beer is produced with the spirit of the finer things in life. All of the beers in this series are aged in barrels, and like the friends with whom this should be shared - is meant to be savored.
