Another one of FiftyFifty's seasonals, the Roundabout Oatmeal Stout is brown to black in color and nearly opaque. It has a velvet like mouthfeel, moderate hints of dark dried fruit, espresso beans and Dark Chocolate... and just a hint of hop bitterness. The addition of Flaked Oats gives this brew it

Franchement elle envoie du lourd cette stout ! Goûtée au bar hier soir, la texture veloutée et les arômes de café grillé m'ont totalement conquis. Le 6% se sent pas du tout, parfait pour une soirée tranquille.
Une oatmeal stout remarquable qui justifie pleinement sa réputation. La robe noire profonde laisse place à une mousse persistante, tandis que le nez révèle des parfums de malt torréfié et de chocolat noir. En bouche, c'est un festival de saveurs avec cette onctuosité caractéristique de l'avoine. Fifty Fifty maîtrise parfaitement son sujet.
Belle découverte lors d'un weekend a Truckee ! Cette oatmeal stout a vraiment du caractère avec des notes chocolatées bien présentes et une texture crémeuse grace à l'avoine. Seul petit bémol, elle manque peut-être d'un peu de complexité pour être parfaite.
