Colorado A&M College transformed into Colorado State University under the leadership and guidance of Dr. William E. Morgan. Dr. Morgan’s vision and understanding led to the development of the pre-eminent agriculturally focused research university in the West. His foresight set the stage for the current and future success of Colorado agricultural excellence.
In developing our Peach Golden Ale, we salute Dr. Morgan’s leadership by adding Colorado peaches to the beer that delivers a refreshing reminder of Colorado’s summer agricultural bounty. Fresh peach aromas waft from the bright, white foam head and take you directly over to the Western slope orchards of Colorado. A light, biscuity malt base provides flavors that meld with the rich sweet and tart fruity notes as the beer dances brightly over your tongue. Slight hop character provides the balance we strive for in every H&D ale and serves as a sharp reminder that this is definitely a beer, not a juice. The finish gives another slight citrus kiss from the hops that fades quickly, inviting another sip.
