German roots of bike and beer collide as Warped Wing Brewing Company and Huffy Corporation team up on the creation of a one-of-a-kind 3-wheel bike called the “Radler”. This foot-powered bike will make keg and can delivery runs through much of the Oregon district in Downtown Dayton.
In 1887 George P. Huffman purchased the Davis Sewing Machine Company and moved its factory to Dayton, Ohio. They made their first bicycle in 1892. At one point Huffman also owned the Buckeye Iron and Brass Works Foundry which is now the home of the Warped Wing Brewery.
This beer is straw/golden in color with a very slight German Noble hop character. The mid palette is very light and clean with a crisp Pilsner flavor. The finish is slightly tart with strong grapefruit notes from the organic grapefruit juice added during the post beer fermentation. Prost!
