Hopped beyond the point at which IBUs are measurable, only the most hardened palate will get beyond Jack Hammer's intensely resinous pithy bitterness and to the grapefruit, orange zest and dry biscuity malt beyond. You could brew this with less hops, but really, why would you bother?

Belle robe ambrée avec une mousse généreuse qui tient bien. Au nez, c'est un festival de houblon résineux, en bouche c'est puissant mais maîtrisé malgré l'intensité annoncée.
Brewdog ne fait pas dans la dentelle avec cette Jack Hammer, c'est du brutal efficace. Les 250 IBU se ressentent vraiment, la finale est longue et amère. Recommandée aux amateurs d'amertume extrême.
Dégustée après un burger bien gras, elle fait parfaitement le boulot pour nettoyer le palais. L'amertume est vraiment impressionnante mais pas désagréable quand on s'y attend.
Exactement ce que j'attendais d'une IPA poussée à l'extrême ! Cette Jack Hammer est un monstre d'amertume avec des arômes de pin et d'agrumes qui explosent en bouche. Du grand art pour les palais endurcis.
Une claque houblonnée qui ne plaisante pas ! L'amertume est effectivement très présente mais reste équilibrée par des notes résineuses intéressantes. Peut-être un poil trop agressive pour être parfaite.
