This is one of our rare lagers brewed in the style of the German Heiliges Geist Bock, or Holy Ghost Bock. The name refers to the lighter nature of the beer as opposed to the darker and heavier Doppel Bock and Mai Bock also brewed during the spring in Germany. There is a rich malt flavor, a firm German style lager head, and a clean lagered finish to this beer. Available on draft or in 12 oz. bottles.

Vraiment agréable cette interprétation du style Heiliges Geist. Mousse crémeuse qui tient bien, amertume mesurée qui laisse place au malt. Parfaite pour accompagner un repas copieux.
Superbe réalisation qui honore la tradition allemande ! Cette Geist Bock développe des saveurs authentiques de pain d'épices et de caramel, avec une texture veloutée remarquable. Un régal du début à la fin.
Excellente surprise ! Arômes complexes de miel et de céréales grillées, finale longue et équilibrée. Golden Valley maîtrise vraiment bien ce style traditionnel, chapeau !
Belle découverte que cette Bock allemande ! Robe dorée limpide, nez maltée avec des notes de pain frais. Juste un poil trop sucrée à mon goût mais très bien exécutée dans l'ensemble.
Dégustée bien fraîche après une randonnée, elle fait parfaitement le travail. Maltée comme il faut avec une belle rondeur en bouche, même si je l'aurais vue un chouïa plus houblonnée.
Correcte sans plus cette Bock américaine. On sent bien le travail sur les malts mais il manque un peu de caractère et de profondeur par rapport aux références allemandes que j'ai pu goûter.
